Applying for Funding

In the current economic situation competition for funding is fierce. Many larger organisations have their own teams of bid writers. BidRightBiz has extensive experience in writing and making funding applications and tender proposals in a range of settings. We have the ability to put together compelling, well crafted proposals to tight deadlines.

This has included applications to statutory agencies and partnership bodies  including DWP; the Skills Funding Agency( SFA); Young People Agency (YPA), Home Office and Criminal Justice Departments, Probation Services, Local Authorities, Drugs Action Teams and other health agencies,  the National Lottery, Grant giving Trusts, Regeneration Agencies, Third Sector Infrastructure Support Organisations the European Social fund and other types of European Funding (Leonardo, Progress etc).

Our experience includes making funding applications in relation to employment and training, housing support, young people, disability and learning disability, health and mental health, drug and alcohol treatment, work with offenders, family support and support for vulnerable adults.

Funding applications tend to work to certain formats and I/we can adapt our skills and experience to newly emerging funding sources. This includes areas of work such as Social Enterprise, the Big Society Agenda and Payment By Results (PBR).  We have also taken an interest in Social Impact Bonds, which may be a new way of funding the both the voluntary and statutory sectors. The newly enacted Localism Bill should also release more funding for community development and local community groups .
